Jewellery Repair Prices


David Jonns can carry out repairs, alterations and restoration on most types of silver, gold and platinum jewellery. This includes ring sizing, stone setting, re-tipping, stringing and refinishing. We also undertake hand engraving on most items.

All estimates are free of charge. Items repaired (however minor) are cleaned and polished. Solders used will be of the correct carat and pass British hallmarking. Our quoted prices include full labour.

Should you require your item to be hallmarked, David Jonns is Sheffield Assay registered for British Hallmarking.

Most work is completed within 14-21 working days depending on our workload, although it can sometimes be achieved in a shorter timescale upon request. For more details feel free to contact us where we will be happy to discuss your requirements in more detail.
